Oil Stains

For treating oil stains we have a four stage process.

This process is designed to gradually remove the contamination layer by layer.

The treatment starts by using strong detergents in conjunction with high pressure water and progresses to far more specialised chemicals.

It is not possible to guarantee complete removal of oil stains as results are dependent on many factors, including but not limited to, the length of time the oil has been left on the paving, type of paving, quality/density and porosity of materials used in the paving, viscosity and type of oil etc.

The treatment programme is suitable for block paving, flagstones and imprinted concrete.

When treating oil stains it is usually necessary to include thorough cleaning of the surrounding paving as described on the services pages.

The images shown opposite are before & after treatment and the work included thorough cleaning and re-sanding of the paving.
